What is the best way of cleaning a water-stained perspex shower door?

After many years of use our shower door has become cloudy and I cannot find any substance which will clean it properly.

First take a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and scrub everywhere. Next, take an all purpose cleaner like Clorox disenfecting Bathroom cleaner or, 409(spray bottle) and spray everywhere really good! Wipe down with paper towel. Then I take an abrasive cleaner like comet or Ajax and sprinkle it on the shower door and get a clean sponge and wet it with warm water. Then scrub the shower again, after give it a good rinsing. Then take a glass cleaner like windex and spray it and wipe it with either a squeegee, paper towel, or crumpled newspaper

Its alot of work, but they will sparkle
