Tooth Ache?
My fiance is complaining one of his teeth are very sore. From what i can see it looks black at the top, i think it needs pulled, but he wont hear of it. He has a fear of needles.
Is there anything i can buy in Boots or something to help the pain.
I am experiencing severe toothace in a molar just now, and like your fiance will not have it removed, this is because im heavily pregnant though….
I find that the pain comes worse at night, and when i am lying down as the blood flow is going to my head causing it to ache more… keep upright..
Nurofen (brufen) plus paracetamol will get him through this, you can take both at once.
As my nerve is causing pain i put sensitive toothpaste on the tooth aswell and that sometimes helps, or distracts me or something…
aviod hot drinks like sweet tea and coffee, and sugary drinks make mine worse..
My gran also said clove oil is good? you could try that.
I send my empathy i can feel for him but he will need to get it pulled eventually as it could do more harm to his mouth, ie spread infection and he would need to get MORE than one tooth out!
Ask the dentist if they can knock him out for the procedure

Oil of cloves is a good topical pain reliever - pop a few drops on a piece of cotton wool. Really does work after the first sting, and regular pain killers, but unless the tooth comes out or dies completely the pain will continue.
