Greek Organizations
It is the beginning of the new semester. Students’ strutting around the campus is an ordinary sight. This is the rush week, an exciting time for all members of Greek organizations. The rush week is the recruitment period characterized by events and activities intended for potential members to learn about the organization. For the members, this is an opportunity to showcase Greek letter shirts as well as all the other paraphernalia printed with the Greek letters of the organization.
Banners, ribbons, Greek shirts and apparels with the Greek letters are used by members to celebrate the occasion. Members of the organization will proudly wear Greek letter shirts to show everyone where they belong. During the rush week, a lot of items with the Greek organization’s letters will be displayed in their office.
Greek paddles are very noticeable items. These innocent looking fraternity paddles that are made attractive with the letters are touching reminders of the hardships that all members went through during the initiation rites. These paddles have served as the member’s “gate pass” to enter the fraternity or sorority.
Undoubtedly, joining would give the student many benefits. Wearing Greek letter shirts would show that the member has passed the initiation rites.
