Can anyone identify where this blowgun is from?
I got a blowgun. I’m pretty sure it’s from some sort of indigenous group. Does anyone recognize the markings?

Pictures are of the blowgun itself and a carrying case for darts.
Are all blowguns made of bamboo then? haha I would have thought it was a medicine man’s flute but I daydream alot haha. It is quite beautiful though and reminds me alot of some of the Indians of the Pines as wow. how clever, a younger, narrower boo that slips inside an older, wider, more hollow one making different sounds and effects. But I imagine some artisans make such clever things even today so how do you know how old it is?
Hmmm, does bamboo have rings like a tree then?
Very fascinating and interesting item you have yourself there and yes, that really does look like a lil butiki haha… lizard, or sorry. Don’t know my reptiles… does bamboo grow in
Ok, I looked it up cuz you had me so curious. Tribal Weapons, Bamboo Quiver with handle and the overall materials and markings really do look like they be from
These kind of things could turn up in alot of unusual places but bet it might help trace the migration trail of some of the forgotten ghost soldiers and slaves and stuff like that I imagine, but as far as I know tis just a fraction of a much larger puzzle and so many theories.
Tukoh! click click click, I bet they are fun to strum and click with your thumb too for a funky feel and sound as nothing I know that has only one use. Kinda like the coke bottle that fell from the sky in the movie The Gods Must Be Crazy cuz right away when I saw it, I thought of Arnis sport and dance and cutting tool. Brilliant all the uses in such a small, fascinating tool. Thanks so much, your the best thing I seen on here so far.
